More than $1T in rent flows through landlord bank accounts annually, with roughly a quarter locked in idle reserves and security deposits – and billions more leaking from unnecessary property expenses. And with $2.5T in real estate loans about to mature in 2027/28, property owners are grasping at straws to boost their income ASAP. Goldbridge solves this problem by creating the first AI-powered banking platform for real estate owners. The Work
What You'll Focus On
- •End-to-end deployments: understand pain points → scope product specs → design and build software → ship → monitor
- •Close partnership with GTM: unblock deals, accelerate go-lives, and drive expansion across more properties/units, higher balances, and more spend
- •Productization decisions: build the minimum needed to win the customer, then generalize patterns into scalable product primitives
- •Systems that make banking feel effortless: clear lifecycle states, idempotency, retries, observability, and auditability
What You'll Do
- •Run customer-facing technical discovery and translate business needs into shippable specs
- •Ship high-quality, scalable software that meets strategic customer needs end-to-end
- •Partner closely with core product engineering to drive the roadmap, prioritize work, and make scoping tradeoffs
- •Own reliability for what you ship: monitoring, alerting, and crisp runbooks for edge cases
- •Create repeatable deployment assets: templates, reference implementations, and internal playbooks so each new customer goes live faster than the last
- •Be a feedback engine: identify patterns across customers, propose the scalable solution, and drive it through delivery
What We're Looking For
- •2+ years building, shipping and maintaining production software (startup experience strongly preferred)
- •Track record of shipping high-quality features in fast-paced environments
- •Strong backend fundamentals: APIs, databases, async workflows, systems thinking
- •Desire to work in a customer-facing engineering role where you turn product and business ideas into engineering solutions
- •High ownership: you can take messy requirements → shipped solution → monitoring → iteration without heavy direction
- •Excellent communication: you can run technical calls and write crisp follow-ups that keep projects moving
Bonus Points (Not Required)
- •Fintech experience (banking, payments, cards, KYC/KYB, ledgering, reconciliation)
- •Experience building integrations with third-party systems and generalized data import/export patterns
- •Experience with event-driven systems (queues, pub/sub), idempotency patterns, and workflow engines
- •Security mindset (PII handling, secrets management, access controls, audit logs)
- •Familiarity with TypeScript/React, Kotlin, GCP (or equivalent modern stack)
- •Comfort traveling occasionally for strategic customers / onsite deployments
